Under the leadership of Pastor Steve, our vision is to offer youth a dynamic creative media platform. Legacy Arts Connection, Inc is committed to fostering a deep interest in real-world preparedness, financial independence, and the development of our young people into responsible and active members of society. Drawing inspiration from the life and work of Dr. Billy G. Ingram, The Legacy Arts Connection, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to attracting, engaging, and transforming the lives of at-risk youth. Our mission is to ignite their passion for creative arts—including media, music, and film & television production—while equipping them with the skills necessary to pursue secure, sustainable careers within the entertainment industry.

In a time when youth are increasingly vulnerable to poverty, social and economic instability, crime, substance abuse, and neglect—particularly in under-resourced communities—it is crucial that we intervene. By empowering youth to discover their purpose, we can help ensure their safety, productivity, and overall well-being.

The responsibility to build this legacy rests with us today.

Inside
our world

Welcome to our world of aspiring filmmakers, passionate storytellers, and cinematic enthusiasts! We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where creativity thrives and dreams take form on the silver screen. Our mission is to engage young minds in the art of media, tv, and film production.

The Legacy we’re leaving through short films…

“I Was Silent Until” is a cryptic cinematic piece about sexual assault in the military. When faced with this kind of abuse, silence seems like the safest solution…until someone else experiences the same thing. Then, it becomes increasingly difficult to remain silent. While, it takes immense courage to speak out against abuse…it is necessary.

“Scripted” shows the suspenseful story of a jealous best friend whose obsession leads to violence. Unbeknownst to a young highschool boy, his best friend is jealous of his relationship with his girlfriend. The obsessed friend will stop at nothing to get rid of people who come in between their friendship. Healthy friendships and relationships are highly important.

“Rags 2 Riches” highlights how social media drives people to mask who they really are. Some people are not who they appear to be. Siblings long to live in a better environment together, and are suddenly adopted by an influencer family. However, their dream becomes a nightmare when they are mistreated by their new social media crazed “family”. This family’s true intentions quickly became clear after the siblings arrival. It is all exposed, eventually.

“Run”, but not in a sense of avoidance, but rather running to what scares you…facing your fear to ignite change. A single mother raising two teens; a brother who struggles with mental health, and a sister who is determined to graduate and move forward in life. Mom is in denial until the inevitable forces her to face what she fears most, the challenges of accepting that she has a mentally unstable son. Mental health cannot be ignored or else the consequences can become detrimental.

These are the fictional and real-life stories of Teens and Young adults. Their environment, their experiences, their life…….they’re bringing awareness to begin changing how the story ends.
